We’re live at the Oman show
After a few slightly wetter days than expected in Dubai 😅 we are now in Oman at the Oman Petroleum & Energy Show with our excellent partner CALTROLS MIDDLE EAST, showcasing our latest ultrasonic and digital measurement instruments, the UX500 and DG and DGX100, which are soon to be launched globally Our Rototherm Sales Manager Terry Thomas is here all week, so if you are at the show do come say hello!

We have officially launched our new brand identity and website (which you will know as you are reading this). British Rototherm Group stands for excellence beyond measure and we wanted an identity for our main business and our core technologies that reflected the level of professionalism and innovation you see within our products, customer service and sales teams.
Rolls Royce present British Rototherm with prestigious Very Special Supplier award
Yesterday we welcomed Rolls-Royce to our Head Quarters in Port Talbot, where we were proud to be awarded a very special supplier award, that the business only give out to handful if businesses every year.
We were awarded with this accolade to recognise our ability to deliver agile support that ensured we were able to to complete a critical project on time.
British Rototherm prides itself on its commitment to continuous improvement and our shared commitment to teamwork enabled us toward closely with Rolls Royce to both deliver the project in question on time, and to then ultimately receive this award.
A huge thank you to Rolls Royce for coming yesterday, meeting the team and recognising how well our two businesses worked together.

Our Net Zero Plan is focused on achieving 100% use of green energy by 2030 for all of our product manufacture.
Further, in 2015 all Member States of the United Nations adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The program defined 17 sustainable development goals which will stimulate action in areas of critical importance for humanity and the planet.

Installed 400 solar panels generating around 65% of our energy requirements
State of the art heating and lighting systems
Installed high efficiency transformers onto our CNC machines to reduce the power loss of energy coming off the network
Reduced consumption in out of hours by 75% through use of simple digital timers and improved temperature controls.
Minimise air losses to reduce loads on our compressors and avoid energy wastage
We review daily the amount of electricity generated and CO2 saved (Kg and M3).
At our 6-acre main manufacturing site, we promote bio-diversity through planting trees, develop wildlife/insects including managing a number of beehives for numerous years which have grown and enable us to produce our own honey for the workforce to share.
